CoRover wanted to migrate 12 servers(Single applications) and implement AWSAI/ML services like Transcribe, Translate,Polly, etc; for performance and scalability. Customer Background

CoRover Private Limited is a cutting-edgeconversational AI platform that focuseson human-centric solutions. They offervirtual assistants like ChatBots,VideoBots, and VoiceBots that are secure,scalable, and reliable. CoRover providesCaaS solutions to IRCTC, an Indian publicsector undertaking that providesticketing, catering, and tourism servicesfor the Indian Railways. CoRover’sflagship contribution to IRCTC is the AskDisha chatbot, which was intended toprovide personalized responses and assistwith customer inquiries in real-time.


CoRover was facing several issues with their Ask Disha chatbot application, which was running on the Azure public cloud. Their architecture was causingperformance outages, scalability issues,and security concerns. In addition, CoRover was also looking to potentially modernize their application. They chose to migrate to AWS public cloud to address their pain points and to be a part of a future forward ecosystem, focused on innovation and modernization. An additional challenge that CoRover faced was security issues caused by spamming attacks during peak hours. Asthe IRCTC (and as an extension, the AskDisha chatbot) covers a large part of theIndian population, this was a significantconcern.

Technical Solutions

The technical solution provided by Minfy for CoRover's AWS migration involved a comprehensive assessment to identify scope, dependencies, and optimal AWS services. Minfy identified the root cause of the problem and configured WAF rules to make the system steady, secure and available. This solution was kept under observation before determining its efficacy.

•  It included the migration of 12 servers to AWS, with application portfolio analysis, load testing, and optional Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) model for flexibility.

•  The solution leveraged AWS services such as EC2 for flexible storage and networking, ECR for secure access and management of Docker images, and EKS for high availability and scalability.

•  AWS security services like WAF, Shield, and IAM were implemented to secure the application infrastructure.

•  The solution also included the use of AWS database migration services, AI and ML migration services, and refactoring of applications on AWS for improved efficiency and performance.
