Today Labaid is one of the leading group of companies in the country which includes business of health care, pharmaceuticals, financial, education, agros etc. The core of Labaid group lies in health care services. 20-25 years back there was no comprehensive treatment facilities in the country.

It was very difficult to have the diagnosis for a distressed patient from a remote area in Bangladesh. For a minor investigation a patient from a remote area had to stay Dhaka for several days and wander at different places for different tests. Labaid is solving the above demand /issues being one of the leader in healthcare space in Bangladesh.

Challenge

- Business Expansion: Labaid was going through an rapid business expansion phase , current laboratories are expected to expand f rom 7 to 20 & one more new hospital to get added to the chain .
- Operational Expenditure: Operational expenses needed to be reduced, including hardware maintenance costs.
Infrastructure Agility: As the ERP is also used by the customers for report extraction scaling up & down as per the need.
- Time to Market: Labaid has decided to launch the new laboratories & Hospital in short span of time so physical hardware
procurement was a challenge.
- Lab Management: ERP to be implemented Set up infrastructure on AWS cloud, in the Singapore Region.
- Connectivity: All Labaid units to securely connect to the Cloud Infrastructure Application centralised to the server to
run primarily as internet facing applications. Except for the on-premise Lab Hardware integration Software which
is for intranet
- Reports online: Patients should be able to connect through the online portal to view reports

- Application Accessibility: Selective Applications to be made public for access to patients & accessible through browser
