Indian cloud native system integrator scales into new geographies, including the United States, Australia, and Southeast Asia, develops new generative AI offerings with AWS

HYDERABAD, India March 27, 2024 — Minfy, a premier Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner and cloud native systems integrator based in India, today announced a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with AWS that will deepen Minfy’s use of cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI). The SCA will support US$500 million in overall business growth through international expansion over the next four years.

Under this multi-year agreement with AWS, Minfy will help enterprises across multiple industries worldwide leverage AI and cloud technologies to deliver new solutions, like the Swayam.ai generative AI app store. Swayam.ai serves healthcare, aerospace, logistics, manufacturing, and public sector customers worldwide with solutions including intelligent chatbots, sentiment analysis tools, and text-to-video conversion.

Minfy plans to further international expansion in the U.S., Australia, and in Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia and Philippines with AWS. This includes strengthening go to market plans, hiring local talent and building solutions that are relevant to customers. Having completed more than 500 AWS engagements to date, Minfy was recognized by The Financial Times in 2022 as one of Asia Pacific’s fastest-growing companies with a USD $100 million annualised revenue rate.

Under this agreement, Minfy’s digital solutions in healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing will help in transitioning workloads to AWS. Minfy’s solutions will enable enterprises to prioritize AI adoption, embrace cloud-driven transformation, and develop new digital capabilities to enhance their operations. Minfy is also accelerating its use of AWS’s cloud-enabled capabilities such as Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock to power the generative AI AWS and Minfy will be at the forefront of driving AI-led digital transformation together, using AWS’s advanced AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities like AWS Inferentia and AWS HealthLake build new generative AI solutions, migrate workloads, develop intelligent applications, and enhance operational efficiency for Minfy’s customers. The collaboration will also allow Minfy to draw on AWS’s DevOps’ cloud capabilities to modernize their customers’ IT infrastructure, as well as use Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, Amazon Elastic Container Service, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon RedShift to better manage their customers’ cloud-based databases.

Minfy will upskill its workforce over the next four years in core AWS competencies across areas like healthcare, data analytics, and ML as it deepens the use of cloud and AI technologies with AWS. Across the organisation, Minfy aims to train its technical, sales, and business professionals with more than 1,000 AWS certifications and accreditations. As part of the SCA, Minfy will also establish a Cloud Centre of Excellence to better centralize knowledge, standardize solution adoption, scale specialized advisory services, and improve solution access across Minfy’s global offices.

Minfy CEO, Vikram Manchanda took over the role in April, and had announced Minfy’s purpose, from Born-in-cloud to being a Bionic organization. Vikram is leading Minfy’s reinvention to the Next Orbit. Aligned to its purpose, Minfy had recently established a Cloud Centre of Excellence (a 100+ Seater Delivery Centre) in Hubli to serve global customers remotely in the post-COVID new Normal.

To lead Minfy’s operations in Singapore, Minfy is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Rowley. Steve is an IT leader with a career spanning more than 3 decades.  Having started with a technical background in IT infrastructure and midsized systems, he progressed into delivery and leadership. He has been recognized for being instrumental in the success of some of the most complex and challenging SAP implementation such as a regional implementation across 13 countries in Asia.  He has worked in various industries including aerospace, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and retail. His vast experience across domains will be crucial in establishing a successful campaign for Minfy in Singapore.

From Our CEO, Vikram

It has been a quarter, since I joined Minfy. The most striking feeling I have is of amazement, seeing the energy of our people — relentless, tenacious and focused on our customer’s outcome. Customers strike a common chord among all of us and inspire us to help them create their future. On one end, 3 months passed by in a jiffy and on the other, so much was accomplished that it feels like a long, long time! We formally unveiled our new ‘Bionic identity’ and renewed our mission ‘to enable a symbiotic relationship between humans and deep tech’. The enormity of the second covid wave left no one untouched, but it made our realization about the significance of our ‘bionic purpose’ even greater. In this difficult period, what guided us was Minfy’s cultural values. Minfy remained resilient and did not slow down. We went ahead with geographical expansion with enablement of local teams now in Malaysia, Singapore and US. We did not slow down on hiring and successfully onboarded over 50 talented professionals. Our vertical focus in BFSI, Digital natives, Public Sector helped marquee customers choose Minfy as their cloud managed services partner.

The second quarter looks even more exciting, as we get into hyper-automation mode. Under Minfy Labs, existing solution accelerators like Swayam and CloudStorz will be further enhanced and in parallel new IP developments will gain pace. Our hiring will further accelerate as both experienced talent and energetic freshers from reputed institutions want to be part of the Minfy mission. Our incubation team of Healthcare and Life Sciences would complete their pilot projects to make a difference to human lives. We look forward to getting one step closer to our ‘Bionic purpose’.
